Administrative Coordinator

Trina MacIntosh

Need to get to the bottom of something? Fear not – Trina is on the case!

Originally hailing from the foggy shores of Nova Scotia, our in-house investigator later relocated to the landlocked province of Alberta, and then back again to Nova Scotia, where she would meet her now-husband. Her next big move came in the late 1990’s when her husband’s job as a commercial airline pilot brought them to Manchester Airport. After obtaining her US citizenship around the turn of the millennium, our resident Canadian-American has called southern New Hampshire home ever since.

Background

While some people might possess a strong attention to detail, Trina has an outright passion for understanding who, what, when, where, why, and how. For nearly a decade, Trina worked for the State of New Hampshire where she conducted research and maintained case history records and reports for active court hearings. Following her time with the State, Trina made the shift to higher education where she served as academic advisor to new students, ensuring they were equipped to reach their goals by fostering relationships and taking the time to understand each individual’s needs and aspirations. The next chapter of Trina’s career came with the title of National Security Investigator, conducting Federal Personnel background investigations and providing comprehensive reports to government agencies including the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Justice. From there, Trina took her talents back to the world of higher education, providing executive-level administrative support to a college President and Board of Trustees before joining our team at Cookson Communications.

Passions

After a day of pulling threads and tying up loose ends, you’ll likely find this Duran Duran devotee rocking out to her favorite 1980’s New Wave playlist whilst tending the flock of seagulls chickens at her woodland home (would you like some fresh eggs, by the way?). Trina has also recently discovered a love for golf, particularly being in constant competition with herself and seeing the resulting progress. If she’s not at her house or on the course, she’s likely headed north of the border for a visit to her beloved home province of Nova Scotia.
