SalesEdge, a New England-based technology company, delivers top-level RFP and proposal automation software solutions for clients in business services, healthcare, technology and financial services. Since the company’s launch in 2007, its team realized they needed a modern website design to better illustrate their philosophy with technology and client engagement. We worked with the SalesEdge team to create a modern brand and launch a new website.

Logo design and rebrand
The SalesEdge team was looking for a modern logo update in both color and design. They weren’t keen on completely leaving their roots behind, so our team developed a forward-moving text treatment and rounded-edge mark that made plenty of reference to the previous iteration. We refreshed the blander blue and green with a tech-inspired gradient of electric greens and bright blues. The resulting design is energetic, simple and modern.
Our website design process began by getting to know the needs of the SalesEdge team and making a data-based decision. We launched the website re-design project by interviewing the team to learn more about their business model, needs and goals for a new site. During this qualitative information gathering phase, we also ran web crawlers in the background of their website to give us quantitative data on how visitors click and find information.
By using a qualitative approach for understanding a client’s tone and using tools like website crawlers, heatmaps and keyword analyses to offer data-based feedback, we were able to create web copy that is informative while also designing a new website that is both intuitive and easy to navigate for the end-user.
