Cookson Communications – a visibility-focused communications agency with expertise in public relations, social media, marketing, design and branding – welcomes Kristen Lestock as the newest member of its growing team.
As the director of communications and client engagement, Lestock will play a leadership role managing client relations and overseeing the company’s public relations initiatives.
“Kristen has a strong communications background with a proven success of executing creative and solid publicity plans,” said Matt Cookson, president and CEO of Cookson Communications. “She has worked closely with local and national media to promote brands and share stories, which will benefit our clients tremendously. She’s a jill of all trades in communications and project management and brings 16 years of experience and skills that will complement the team and be an asset to our clients.”
Prior to joining Cookson Communications, Lestock worked as the director of communications at New Hampshire Motor Speedway where she was responsible for the day-to-day management of the communications department. This included publicity, promotions, media outreach, digital media, crisis preparation, event planning and more.
Lestock is a 2004 graduate of Southern New Hampshire University’s Three-Year Undergraduate Honors Degree Program in Business Administration and she received her MBA and a Certificate in Marketing in 2005. She resides in Hudson, New Hampshire.
